Functional Skills in Maths and English.

If you want to improve your skills and gain a nationally recognised qualification, we’ve got a range of courses that are flexible and designed to fit around your lifestyle.

You can carry on working, looking for a job, or running a home while completing your learning too.

How Students Learn:

Functional Skills are delivered on 1:1 basis with work through assessment tasks approved by City and Guilds at a pace and level to suit individual learners needs, only when we think the learner is ready will we enter them for the exam. In some learners cases it may be that they already have the skills and just want to take the test to achieve an approved qualification.

We have an excellent success rate because we have professional and experienced staff who understand a diverse range of people and their difficulties.

Functional Skills are not just about knowledge in English and Maths, they are also about knowing how and when to use the knowledge in real life situations.

This qualification may be funded for learners if they are employed for 8 or more hours and have no qualifications at or over level 2.
